About this artwork
Painting of a series of 4, inspired by the elements of nature WATER, EARTH, AIR, FIRE, this represents the earth, inspired by the sunset of a September day at CINQUE TERRE. The elements and the verticality of the painting tell of impervious lands perched on the sea, I use plaster recycled fabrics, metallic colors, sand, each material is useful for telling the story of an interior country. Exhibited at the Art Venice Gallery
Hélène Barraud is a painter steeped in the nuances of her homeland, the Cinque Terre, with a background that reflects an irrepressible need for personal expression. His is an undefined technique, favoring an instinctive and emotional approach; in his style lies a fluidity that captures genuineness and the search for authenticity. His works are an invitation to "feel": they exude the profound emotions of existence, such as love and the elementality of nature, shaping an intimate dialogue between art and the spectator's senses.
