About this artwork
I wanted to depict a Tunisian woman wearing a pink chechia with a slight gradation of white, resting elegantly on her head, contrasting with her black hair. Her deep and expressive gaze reflects both pride and serenity. She wears a dress adorned with a Khamsa, which symbolizes protection against evil eyes and good luck. Harmony and life are present in the background, with a bright and warm yellow symbolizing energy and joy, and green symbolizing…
nature, serenity, and balance. My goal was to create a work that merges modernity and cultural heritage, celebrating feminine strength and spirituality through my painting. Beneath her pink chechia, she carries pride and grace. Her eyes are an ocean of strength, her dress, a protective Khamsa. Between solar yellow and serene green, she unites heritage and the future.
