About this artwork
acrylic and pencil on canvas - 31”H x 45”W - ships in tube
A hard edged composition of simple shapes of reds, oranges, yellows, grays and browns. Many interesting textures here, as previous layers of color peek through the upper layers. To me, this painting is reminiscent of the paintings Paul Klee did on his trip to Tunisia in 1914.
