Halina Nowicka is a prize-winning Polish painter who has exhibited her works nationally in solo events. She is fascinated with the power of light which shapes a landscape by changing form and color. Nowicka's bold works are created using acrylics and natural pigments on canvas. She often uses modeling paste to add texture to her works. One of her favorite tools is a putty knife, which she employs to scratch and apply thicker layers of paint.
