Painting on canvas. Made in a mixed technique, I used modeling paste to convey texture and relief. Cover the painting with acrylic paints on top. Made in the style of abstraction, which suggests an interior painting in your cozy home.
I love the sea, the sound of the waves has a calming effect on me, filling my mind with calmness and harmony.
I wanted to portray the spirit of the sea from an angle that is not usual for us. We are used to contemplating… the sea from the shore, but birds see all the raging beauty from above.
I imagined myself hovering above the waves as if I could soon plunge into the water from a high peak of heaven.
The paradox is that I can’t swim at all. But the water beckons me with its infinity and depth ...
