In “Investigate,” I explore the topic of childlike curiosity.
We see a woman curiously observing a goldfish in a plastic bag.
Her face is completely non-judgmental, one cannot read any emotions or thoughts from it, but the eye, distorted by the materiality of the water in the plastic bag, lets the viewer sense how mesmerized she is as she examines every scale of the small fish.
It should be a kind of wake-up call for me to pay more attention to… everything around me and to look at life with the excitement and curiosity of a child and to let it affect me.
