About this artwork
In this abstracted work with figures, I used oil paint. The vibrant, flowing background breathes life and energy, while the bold forms of fennel and eggplant stand grounded, inviting warmth and connection. This piece radiates organic vitality and a fresh, lively spirit, perfect to energize any space with a touch of natural beauty. - I find it really interresting to study the 'veggies' & try to captivate their form - though both forms and colours… are freely chosen from painters/my urge at that moment - which coulurs that speaks from the 'utter' room (scenery), and which colour(s) was the canvas primed with. This priming ended up in a mix - was hung utside to dry - and it all ended up in one blended connection - these are my thoughts about this piece. Artwork would need an overlook, varnish & signing. Of course it would be possible to agree on artglass/framing sent from Norway around eastertime next year. It sits/hang in Sicily, therefore needs time.
Hanne Giacobbe Helleberg is a painter with roots in Oslo, formally trained and committed to artistic exploration since her teens, both painting & dance. She employs a vibrant, colorist approach, focusing on self-blended hues, textured surfaces, and inventive use of materials such as fabric and metal (also found objects) within contemporary abstract and still life oil compositions. Her work radiates contemplative energy, capturing shifting moods and the raw beauty of nature, inviting viewers to sense landscapes and seasons through pure color and expressive structure. The colour is often the start inspiration of a work.
