About this artwork
With bold acrylic strokes and vibrant sprays, I worked layer by layer onto this piece, capturing the shapes of forest nature. The contrasting greens and dark shapes evoke a dynamic dance between sunlight and shadow. This painting emerged over time in studio, and could make you feel 'hiking in the woods'.
This work also shows my inspiration from the earlier Kirkeby studies, and is a typical colorist-painting. I have used various varnish to express… the contrasts of the reflexes between sunlight and shadows. Wooden 'floating' frame could be arranged at your cost before transport - if you like (?) - though edges are also painted - with layers. - Signedxat the front, with relieff paint, down in the right corner - is titulated at the back side on the wooden frame. Since this is not a deep-edge canvas, I'll fix 'hang-up' if you dont want framing. Also written full name, production place & year(s) on the back side and varnished.
Hanne Giacobbe Helleberg is a painter with roots in Oslo, formally trained and committed to artistic exploration since her teens, both painting & dance. She employs a vibrant, colorist approach, focusing on self-blended hues, textured surfaces, and inventive use of materials such as fabric and metal (also found objects) within contemporary abstract and still life oil compositions. Her work radiates contemplative energy, capturing shifting moods and the raw beauty of nature, inviting viewers to sense landscapes and seasons through pure color and expressive structure. The colour is often the start inspiration of a work.
