I never intended to make lingerie the main focus of my art. How did it come about? We were talking about art, about the transience of fashion, which eventually returns in an old or altered form. Then someone said, "I have something in my closet." It was a white corset, delicate, elegant, with a touch of nostalgia and seduction. I knew immediately:… This is material for more. What if this corset could tell stories? Not through words, but through presence, texture, and form. This question wouldn't let me go. And yet, therein lay the challenge. "Seductive Nostalgia" combines sensuality with the memory of a once delicate, supple, intimate garment, which, through its fixation on canvas, gains a new presence. I transformed the corset into a relief-like artwork of touching depth.
