About this artwork
In the classical music world is Di Capo a remark that the musical piece reverts to an earlier structure. In my latest serie of works I introduced the circle again. For years I studied lines and rectangulars. I longed for a somewhat more lyrical approach. Basically this serie is not different than my previous work. Starting point are still mathematical geometric forms based on scientific calculated base. But in the outcome I try to reach a realm with… reflects a much more organic experience. When these two issues reach a certain balance I think I’ve reached my goal.
In this piece, I poured my soul into abstract shapes that dance between soft greens and whites. Using oil, I created a rhythmic flow that invites tranquility and introspection. This painting will breathe calm energy into your space, making it a sanctuary of peaceful balance and rhythmic harmony. It's a visual melody that uplifts and soothes simultaneously.
Hans Ensink op Kemna is a Dutch painter and conceptual artist trained in Monumental Composition at AKI Academy, whose background includes significant awards and collaborative curatorial work. He employs a geometric visual language—rectangles, squares, circles, and lines—fusing rational structure with intuitive, sensitive choices in color and form. Through his art, he explores the interplay between nature and culture, encouraging introspection, imagination, and a reconsideration of how we perceive space and the human presence within it.
