My work combines elements from Eastern art & philosophy – perpetual transformation, unification with nature, simplicity - with elements from abstract expressionism – action painting, the spiritual, the immersive experience.

Hans Everaert is an experienced Belgian painter who has exhibited his work nationally. Having turned to art after forming a deep interest in abstract expressionism and the immersive quality of a painting, he seeks to use his artistic practice to explore the concept of "deep time." Replicating the visual effects of sedimentation and erosion, Everaert composes piercing color fields to ultimately give form to the endlessness of the universe.
