About this artwork
This sculpture captures the raw, unrefined energy of stone, revealing an organic form that speaks of endurance and timelessness. I wanted to evoke the primal connection between nature and human spirit, inviting viewers to feel the rugged texture and silent strength it embodies. Bringing this piece into your space adds a grounding presence, inspiring reflection and a deep sense of calm.

After 45 years of working internationally in hotels and restaurants, it was time to give my hobby and passion a chance and actively experience it. I was given the opportunity to visit exhibitions, museums and studios all those years. My attention was mainly focused on the abstract expressionism of American artists. My work is inspired by this movement, among other things.
My choice of materials provides the inspiration for form and color, put on the canvas with speed and passion. The canvas gives me the space to express the feeling without any limitations, through this freedom works are created that make me curious about the result. I call it a contemporary answer to Action Painting, the great gesture of energy and power.
