About this artwork
In this piece, I poured raw emotion into torn layers of paper, uniting chaos and harmony. The bold reds clash with muted tones, embodying inner conflicts and the beauty of imperfection. It’s a visual rhythm that invites you to feel tension, history, and resilience all at once. This collage pulses with energy, ready to ignite your space with passion and depth.

After 45 years of working internationally in hotels and restaurants, it was time to give my hobby and passion a chance and actively experience it. I was given the opportunity to visit exhibitions, museums and studios all those years. My attention was mainly focused on the abstract expressionism of American artists. My work is inspired by this movement, among other things.
My choice of materials provides the inspiration for form and color, put on the canvas with speed and passion. The canvas gives me the space to express the feeling without any limitations, through this freedom works are created that make me curious about the result. I call it a contemporary answer to Action Painting, the great gesture of energy and power.
