Modern architecture is the starting point of my work—not its actual subject. I'm not interested in the building itself, but in the image that can emerge from it. Through viewpoint, light, and composition, I detach architecture from its original function and develop independent photographic worlds. All works are created directly on site—without digital editing or AI. In the end, the focus is not on a building, but on an image that resonates regardless of its origin.

Harry Lieber (born 1963) is a German photographic artist. His work is created at sites of modern architecture in Europe and the USA. From real buildings, he develops distinctive photographic worlds characterized by light, form, color, and structure. His works are produced as limited editions and combine photographic precision with a clear, contemporary visual language.
