About this artwork
Now in summer, the light in the north is brilliantly bright and intense. The sun sets for only a brief moment, but it never gets dark. And during the day, nature glows in the Nordic light. The sea mist and the white sand of the dunes and beaches in particular create this special atmosphere that has been burned into my memory since childhood and draws me back again and again. I let myself drift in the carefreeness of the moment; everything is so light… and I want to dance in the gentle summer breeze. This attitude to life is described by “dance with me” with its pastel colors and light flow of forms. The abstract painting leaves the viewer space for their own journey of discovery and sensations.
« I want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great tension, I look at what surrounds me. »
Hasso Heybrock is an artist based in Germany who has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. He believes that looking at a painting means walking into an unknown adventure through the picture, where hidden emotions come to the surface. For Heybrock, making the adventure as intense and exciting as possible for the viewer is his main challenge as a painter.
