About this artwork

The series “Northern summer 2020 I - IV” shows impressions of the changing weather here in the northern part of Europe. This year we had a cold and sometimes stormy month in July, but there were also sunny periods in between. We were able to watch dramatic scenes on the beach and over the vast ocean and that everything turned into a radiant and warm mood in the next moment. The paintings were created during my summer vacation on the west coast of… Northern Denmark, where I found these impressions while hiking on the wonderful beach of the "Tannisbugt".
