About this artwork
The awakening of spring opens our hearts. "Springtime 2017" describes the emerging joy of life in spring here with us in Northern Germany. The special mood over the vastness of the west coast inspired me to create this abstract work. This lively painting was created with a light application of paint in several glazes. It conveys to the viewer that happy mood of spring that we all know from our childhood. It is about happiness, spring feeling and…
freedom. The painting was exhibited at the Affordable Art Fair in Milan in January 2019 by the Van Gogh Art Gallery in Madrid.
