About this artwork
Kingfisher is inspired by the vibrant blue coloration of the bird of the same name. The horse appears to be pouncing as if attacking it's prey, much like the Kingfisher does when fishing, and is made up of mechanical elements meant to reflect our increasing merger with technology.
