About this artwork

I captured in this painting the feeling of inner freedom, self-acceptance and tenderness towards my own body. It is a moment of oneness with oneself, when there is no need to hide, be shy or conform to anyone's expectations.

The naked body, the soft lines, the hands caringly embracing the breasts are not a gesture of concealment, but an act of self-love. The red nails are a symbol of passion and life, contrasting with the delicate pink background,… which represents the lightness and joy of being.

This painting is about a woman who is happy - not because of anyone, but simply because she is. She feels alive, beautiful and whole, and that is what makes her truly free.
