About this artwork
This work is part of a triptych that explores the Western female condition in the form of advertising aesthetics, which often appears to make the female body an object of desire. My painting targets precisely these bodily fragments, freeing them from the logic of imposition and control to bestow dignity and respect. The colors also symbolize the protection of interiority and the refusal to be scrutinized as objects.
