About this artwork
My sculpture "Walk through the Water" shows a female figure made of concrete and iron wire walking through the water. She feels the current and energy of the sea. She enjoys the feeling of being part of nature and tries to keep her balance while walking through the water. The open transparency of the knotted structures symbolizes the inner being of man, as well as the connection to the cosmos, the closed, massive shape of the abdomen the connection…
with the earth. The sculpture is currently on display in a gallery in Zurich, Switzerland, until the end of June 2024.
