About this artwork
This watercolor is a depiction of the famous American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 for his lyrical work.
The work is rendered in restrained, delicate colors and simultaneously possesses great depth. The sitter's gaze is thoughtful and turned towards the viewer. Bas's painting evokes the profound lyricism of Dylan's poetry.
