I start with a dance move.
Before the brush touches canvas, my body does. Rhythm comes first. Then foam. Then scar.
I am a contemporary abstract artist based in Accra, Ghana. My work lives between chance and decision. Foam is chance — it lands, it spreads, it refuses to be controlled. The brush is decision — it cuts, it directs, it scars. I do not hide the repair.
Each painting is a record of movement, mistake, and mending. I layer, I press, I wound the surface, then I mend it in public. The cracks, the overlaps, the places we tried to fix — that is where the truth lives.
Born and raised in Accra, my studio practice is rooted in energy, ritual, and material honesty. I work primarily in mixed media on canvas, building textured surfaces that hold both violence and healing.
For me, art is evidence. Evidence of a moment, a risk, a body in motion.
