In my artistic practice, I combine continuous line drawing with 3D painting to create unique works that merge linear simplicity and volumetric complexity. I start by drawing a line without interruption, a fluid path which defines the contours of my composition. Henry Escobar is a painter who resides in France and has exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and Switzerland. After a work accident left him partially disabled, rehabilitation painting helped him recover and was the catalyst for his artistic career. Escobar’s style is comprised of figurative realism and contemporary pop art elements. He often works in acrylics, working with a knife to create thick layers of texture and volume.
