The title shows the meaning of the written word, 自由, freedom.
It is created with the hope to infuse energy into the viewer's soul by looking at the dynamic line of the written words even if the feeling is down. And clear one's mind and feel free.
Original Japanese calligraphy on paper.
The paper is the Chinese Xuan paper, which is renowned for high quality with being soft and fine texture.
Sumi ink is made by rubbing the traditional ink stick on… the inkstone to create the best color before writing.
Japanese brushes are handmade by artisans using goat's hair which realizes the delicate lines of the ink.
The work is mounted on a wooden panel and ready to hang.
