About this artwork
The unicorn is a magnificent mythical animal, named so because of the only long straight horn in its forehead. One of the most popular mythical creatures, a symbol of purity and chastity. The symbol brings joy to the realization of cherished desires for the benefit of the World.
The mythical animal unicorn is present in many traditions. His various images are known: a goat - in the East, later in the West - a deer or a horse. He was always depicted… with one horn in his forehead, most often spiral. “A unicorn is not a solitary, clearly defined entity, but a fabulous creature with very many variations: for example, there are one-horned horses, donkeys, fish, dragons, scarabs, etc. Strictly speaking, we are dealing with the theme of a single horn ... « The less evil an artist has, the more he is an artist. »
Hodaya Levin is an artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Her abstract works explore existential questions relating to the meaning of life, our role in the universe, as well as death, and the concepts of good and evil. Levin employs archetypes and other cultural codes to aid her in the deciphering of the abstract messages of the soul. For her, art is an instrument of goodness which can change the world for the better.
