About this artwork
These works are collages on panel. They are inspired by my interest in creating abstract women figures. The patterns in the dresses relate to my background in textile design and love of pattern and color. The use of transparency offers another layer to the composition and is achieved by the thoughtful layering of lightweight fabrics and papers on to a painted background.
