About this artwork
In this work, acrylic and oil merge to create a passionate depiction of power and movement. My expressionistic and partially abstract style emphasizes the dynamic elegance of the horse. I chose bold, emotive colors to capture the unbridled energy and free spirit of this majestic creature. This painting will bring an atmosphere of inspiration and vitality to any room.
On my last study trip to Mexico, I also visited the capital and the old presidential… palace. On the ground floor, I saw a mural by Diego Rivera that impressed me greatly and I decided to paint an interpretation of the final scene in oil.
