In this piece, I poured my soul into creating a tapestry of emotion, weaving fine art and surreal touches into a realism-based framework. Layering acrylics, enamel, cement, and plaster, I crafted a deeply textured presence that invites the viewer into a contemplative space. It's alive with the vulnerable pulse of human softness amidst the harshness of reality, leaving an imprint of thoughtful energy in any room it graces.

Hugo Castilho is a self-taught Portuguese painter who portrays a fantastical universe where he explores reflections of reality through ethical, pedagogical, and humoristic content. He begins his artistic process by contemplating a white canvas on the floor, imagining what it is he wants to create. With a spoon, Castilho starts molding plaster. After it has dried, he gives color to the piece by using enamel paint.
