About this artwork
This project started when Hugo Nefe dealt with the thought model of string theory and the cosmic background radiation.
He came to the following conclusion: If the entire cosmos consists of strings that connect everything with everything, then all people are connected and interwoven through an invisible network that they have so far only used subconsciously. Only in times of great need and global disasters may one or the other suspect that this… sublime network exists and functions more efficiently than any electronic data exchange. However, using it consciously means being aware that the fate of each individual always has an impact on the entire network.

Hugo Nefe is a German painter, draftsman and sculptor who has exhibited in China and Germany. His works are featured in the Bavarian State Painting Collection as well as the State Art Collection of the People’s Republic of China. While each of his pieces offers a theme, Nefe does not want to deprive the viewer of their own discovery and feels that ‘words lead to another perception than deep contemplation’. He creates using acrylics and India ink.
