About this artwork
"Wetland" reveals the life that springs forth in silence. The linen is left exposed to function like the earth itself, holding moisture, color, and movement. It is a glimpse into what happens beneath the surface: organisms that interact and grow when sunlight appears.
Technique and Aesthetics: The piece blends fluid stains with asemic writing, a language of strokes that needs no words to communicate. By using water-soluble materials, layers and… transparencies are created that reveal the information hidden behind each gesture. There is a real balance between the raw texture of the fabric and the fluidity of the drawing.
It brings a sense of freshness and natural balance to the space. It's an invitation to connect with intuition and the energy of life.
