Ignatios Mitrofanous is a painter and sculptor from Cyprus who has exhibited nationally as well as in the United Kingdom, France, Greece and Egypt. He classifies his art as 'organic expressionism', exploring the chaos theory, death, origins, as well as the self and consciousness, within his compositions. He also applies hidden symbolism and mathematics involving Tesla and Fibonacci ratios. Mitrofanous uses a variety of materials in his creative process including oils, resin, varnish, ink, glue, acrylics and marble dust.
