About this artwork
In creating this work, I sought to capture the melancholy beauty of the ruins, revealing a glorious past that has now vanished. The wax provides a living, almost thrilling texture, and each brushstroke is full of history and emotion. Inviting reflection on the passing of time, it will infuse your home with an atmosphere of deep contemplation and elegant nostalgia.
