About this artwork
In this work I capture the essence of Venice, its diffuse light, its richness of colors and its timeless charm. Using the giclée technique, I immortalized the dreamlike atmosphere of the city, playing with reflections and textures to evoke nostalgia and serenity. Each line is an invitation to travel, a bridge between the viewer and this visual serenade, a fragment of a dream to hang at home, carrying emotions and elegance.

Igor Bitman, a painter and photographer who resides in France, has exhibited nationally, as well as in Switzerland, Canada, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and China. The main theme in his works is beauty and ‘seizing beauty that goes away’. For this reason, Bitman’s paintings and photographs highlight the beauty of the feminine form. His favorite techniques include traditional oil, oil pastel and encaustic painting with beeswax.
