About this artwork
In creating this work, I sought to weave the emotions of introspection and solitude into a visual dialogue. Using pen, colored pencils, and watercolor, I depicted a multitude of solar water heaters that sit on rooftops in warm countries. Each one stands alone, but together they form a silent assembly. They symbolize moments of silence amidst the bustle of life, and the birds, a fleeting presence, remind us of the fleeting nature of our thoughts.…
