About this artwork
Topography of Thought
36x27 inches
paper digital printing
This artwork is a visual map of the mind, a "Topography of Thought." The contour lines, much like those on a geographical map, do not chart mountains and valleys, but rather peaks of insight, plateaus of contemplation, and the depths of the subconscious. The liquid chrome-like surface emphasizes that thought is not a static structure, but a constantly flowing, ever-changing process.
A sharp… diagonal cut, like a beam of light, divides this mental space, symbolizing a moment of epiphany or a new idea that brings clarity, separating "before" from "after." The contrast between the cool, silvery tones and the warm, orange hues reflects the duality of the mind: cold logic versus hot emotion, the conscious and the subconscious. It is a journey into the complex, multi-layered landscape of our inner world.
