About this artwork
2017, Acrylic and graphite on canvas panel. Unframed painting.
Geometrical and minimalistic representation of a cup, a coffee pot, and a espresso machine.
Part of my collection Coffee Time that shows my love for coffee.
In crafting this painting, I immersed myself in the vibrancy of pop art combined with surreal elements. I used acrylic and graphite to portray a stylized, geometric coffee cup, juxtaposing the warmth of the cup with the abstract… and cool-toned background. This work explores the daily ritual of coffee drinking, turning a mundane activity into a moment of introspective surrealism. It's a tribute to the quiet moments of the day and the thoughts they inspire, bringing an energizing yet thoughtful presence to any space.
« I create colorful, warm and happy art- just like my homeland. My graphic-design and illustration background allowed me to diversify my style into Illustrative, geometric and expressionist themes. »
