Ilaria Finetti is a painter and draftsman based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally and in the United States. Her art blends the poetic language of illustration with a more abstract and surreal code, made up of large backgrounds, organic shapes, as well as dreamlike and floating figures. Drawing inspiration from nature, biology, and microcosms, the recurring themes in Finetti's pieces are fertility, the process of creating life, and the intrinsic link with water.
