About this artwork
In my work I explored the dynamism and energy created by the interplay of bold orange on deep blue. The abstract, geometric lines intersect randomly but also symbolize the pervasiveness of order and chaos in our lives. This energetic composition stands as a metaphor for the constant movement and change in our environment and speaks of the ability to maintain control despite impermanence. The use of acrylic gives the colors luminosity and depth, perfect…
for adding vitality and a touch of thoughtfulness to any space.

Ilja Freer, born in Berlin in 1976, has shifted his creative expression from spray cans to palette knives and brushes. Using colors and techniques in complex compositions, he explores the material presence of color and its expressive power. Freer's works are exuberant representations of positive energy, they inspire awareness of one's own strength and draw the viewer into a world full of possibilities.
