In this work, I depict the moment when passion ignites into a flame and a sense of lightness emerges. The warm reds and golds represent inner heat, movement, and the exhilarating feeling of creation. The spiral forms symbolize, for me, maturation, letting go, and the moment when energy is released. With the glass mosaic elements, I amplify the interplay of light and reflection—like a shimmering moment suspended between intensity and pure enjoyment.

Ilona Wohlmutter is a self-taught painter who works primarily with acrylics in mixed media on canvas, drawing inspiration from nature and inner processes.
