About this artwork
In this piece, I endeavored to explore the delicate dance of frequency and manifestation - or how crises can turn into biggest blessings. Utilizing acrylic and collage, I layered segments of old newspapers with vibrant abstract forms, blending the past into a dynamic present. This artwork speaks to the seamless flow of time, encouraging reflection on how past insights infuse our current perspectives, learnings, healings. It's designed to bring an…
encouraging, empowering atmosphere to any space, enhancing the room with both a splash of color and a whisper of the quantum field.

Whispers of the Quantum Field
Ils Van Looveren is a belgian prizewinning painter whose works have been presented to an international audience in solo & group exhibitions. She stands out for her unique sense of colors, merging them excellently. Her characteristics are the use of raw structures, multiple layers, collages and drippings with which she skillfully creates unique abstract and figurative artworks of powerful features and blissful atmospheres. Originally trained as a physical therapist her interest in anatomy, posture and the energy of the human body is reflected in her figurative works. In her abstract works the layers, structures and drippings - and from time to time poems written between the layers reflect her sense of the quantum field's whispers of wisdom anchoring into the vastness of our physical world. She loves to work not only on canvas but on used cardboard too, representing the transience of human experience and the velocity of life.
