About this artwork
This work is showing the luminosity of a corner in my studio. The different details included reflect some of my personal daily habits of music and sport. The oil on wooden panel is a unique artwork that was done during Covid-19.

Imad Habbab is an award-winning artist based in Turkey whose paintings have been exhibited in both Turkey and the United States. As a reaction to his memories and personal experiences with war, he began to explore the concept of the explosion, as relating to the thoughts and values of a human being vs. the second when the explosion occurs. In addition, Habbab's "Civilian Spectrums" concept translates the deep relation between identity, the place, and human traces.
