About this artwork
Expressive landscape painting of colorful meadows under a blue sky and trees on the horizon.
My first inspiration was: Have an eye for nature far away or close to home and its beautiful colors.
When looking closely at the green grass of the meadows, it is easy to see how many colors there are. Than it is good to see, that grass is not only green, but that it that it consists of thousands of colors, from dark green to pink.
The second reason to… paint this painting was: a well-known phrase in The Netherlands is: "the grass at the neighbors is not greener than your own grass". In other words, be happy with what you have.
Materials: acrylic on canvas, varnished with a satin varnish
