About this artwork
This painting is very special to me. It speaks a lot about my context, my humanity and my daily life. I live by the Adriatic coast. From the beach I see Conero on the left, the cliffs of Ancona, the capital of the Marche region. The sea is an incredible turquoise blue. Always clean, warm and calm. I chose vibrant colors that invite you to experience a joyful emotion. In the painting there is a female figure, a seagull, a white cat, a cup and a plate…
with prawns. Here I talk about my love for animals. I recently lost my Pupussu, my companion for 14 years, a little white angel who loved prawns, but if I had to find a small flaw in her, it was the difficulty in sharing the prawns with my other cats. The seagull above appears looking down because he rightly wants a piece of the dish too. Her figure is calm, gently holding the kitten, so that the seagull can have part of her lunch.
