About this artwork
Urban view is one of my main themes. There is always something city is telling, and a man and the city can understand each other. This work is about the common state of these two, when it is time to prepare to some changes and the winter way of living.

Inga Levi is a 'poet of the city', her work depicts urban landscapes in varying genres. The Ukrainian artist's paintings explore both the harmony and tension between humans and space, as well as the transformation of common places through 'artistic optics'. Levi often creates using pastels in plein air in order to directly catch the impression, finishing the piece in her studio.
