About this artwork
This picture was made in connection with an exhibition about Aarhus- my home town in connection with the city being European Capital of Culture in 2017. Symbolizes the city's life, culture and my joy of living here. Aarhus is the second biggest city in Denmark.

Inge Thogersen is an established Danish painter who has exhibited her work nationally. She took up painting in her late 40s, and also works as a family therapist, transferring her fascination with human relationships and experiences onto her canvases. Additionally inspired by music and nature, she composes abstract paintings that carry an optimistic energy and speak to the imagination.
