About this artwork
No. 1 in a series of pictures inspired by H.C. Andersen's adventure. Here it is from "the little match girl". When the artist first came through the dark, gloomy, cold, unjust, evil and sad, she began to express the love between grandma and the little girl, the magic, the faith, and the powerful. This painting she called "the magic" . The material are acrylic and mixed media, collage on canvas.
Painting continues on edges. It could be framed- but… it can also hang nice without frame. It comes ready to hang.
The painting is made with a base of paint, on glued napkins, prints, screen printing and pastels - and is then built up with many layers of thin and thinner paint. Some of the paint is gold paint.
The painting is signed back with full signatur, initials and year.
