About this artwork
The painting is the impression of visiting the exhibition of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera in Moscow 2019. Then she was greatly impressed by Kahlo’s paintings and history of her life. Frida’s art is a crazy cocktail of passion, all-consuming love, pain and loneliness .... the colours of painting remind of image of the famous Mexican artist.

Inna Stubbs is an artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Luxembourg. For her, abstraction is a way of communicating with the world. Stubbs describes her works as a contribution to the freedom of emotion and of expression, in a world where freedom is most often denied. She donates a portion of the proceeds from her art to the Human Rights Foundation, as the limitation of people’s liberty has always been of great concern to her.
