Born in 1974 in Istanbul, I have always experienced art as something as vital as breathing — an inseparable rhythm of my inner life. Painting, for me, is not simply the act of creating images; it is a way of giving form to invisible movements of thought and dreams.
Being born on the Anatolian lands — a timeless bridge between East and West — is, I believe, a singular inheritance. These lands carry the breath of ancient civilizations, the wisdom of lived cultures, and the deep memory of humanity’s continuous transformation.
