About this artwork
I painted this piece on a slow, quiet morning, inspired by a simple breakfast that felt unexpectedly special. I’ve always loved homemade pancakes, and baking them on weekends is a small tradition of mine — a moment to slow down and enjoy something warm and familiar.
In this scene, pancakes with black caviar, a cup of fresh coffee, and rustic bread come together not as luxury, but as a feeling of calm and balance. The soft light, the stillness, and… the textures of the food created a peaceful atmosphere I wanted to capture.
